How do we do it?

It is a surgery that is performed in the operating room under general anesthesia. Skin resection is accompanied by liposuction of localized fat. Depending on the needs of each patient, the abdominal wall musculature can be sutured and retained. The incision is located in the lower abdomen and its extension will depend on the excess skin and fat that must be removed. Always sit below the underwear or bathing suit line. It lasts approximately between two and four hours and may require an overnight hospitalization for control. In some cases, drainage tubes are left in for a few days to evacuate fluids that accumulate under the skin.
